Welcome to my world! My name is Brice Green, and I am a seasoned sales engineer and manager with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. I am thrilled to lead a team of talented sales engineers, and together, we have achieved incredible milestones that have earned us a reputation for excellence in our field.
Let me take you on a journey of how I got here. As a high school student, I spent my summers working for my dad’s business, installing business phone systems in Southern California. Little did I know that those long days pulling cables, programming phone systems, and occasionally helping with installations would ignite a passion for telecommunications that would last a lifetime.

Inspiring Career Growth

After college, I started working as a telephone technician and quickly became highly skilled in Toshiba products. This expertise led me to a support job, and from there, I worked my way up to become a sales engineer. Eventually, I became a manager, leading a team of sales engineers across the Americas and Australia at Mitel.

What sets me apart in my field is my hands-on approach to leadership. I don’t just manage my team from behind a desk; I roll up my sleeves and work alongside my team members to achieve our goals. And together, we have consistently exceeded quotas for over five years despite facing significant changes in supporting staff, product lines, and management directives.

Another factor that distinguishes me is my unwavering commitment to continuous learning and development. To be the best, you must never stop learning, so I am always looking for ways to improve myself and my team. I mentor my team members to help them achieve their career goals and develop their skills, and I create and implement monthly programs to improve our sales, product, and technology skills.

Let’s talk about embracing fun! While my work as a sales engineer is fast-paced and challenging, I firmly believe that having fun is an essential part of the job. I approach every project enthusiastically and excitedly, always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges. The thrill of the unknown is what keeps life interesting, and I am continually inspired by the remarkable things that can be accomplished when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Customers can feel it when I get excited to talk about solutions and products.

That being said, I don’t take my work lightly. I understand the importance of staying focused and delivering results, and I am dedicated to achieving success in everything I do. But a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace fun and adventure can be just as crucial as technical expertise or industry knowledge.

Whether I’m working on a complex sales proposal, troubleshooting a technical issue, or brainstorming new ideas with my colleagues, I always strive to bring a sense of energy and excitement to the table. A positive attitude can be infectious, and by embracing fun and adventure in our work, we can achieve incredible things together.

One moment that has been particularly meaningful and influential in my career was working with a young salesperson with no engineering, networking, or technical background. He wanted to become a sales engineer in any way possible, and I took him under my wing. In less than two years, he became incredibly knowledgeable in networking and the product, and he quickly became the subject matter expert (SME) of our application integration. It was a proud moment when he moved up to the Field SE role, and moments like these keep me motivated to continue doing what I do.
